DTS signed a contract with Faisal Islamic Bank of Egypt to develop a system to automate the bank's zakat department operation. The implementation of the project will take six months, after which Zakat recipients will be able to easily disburse the subsidies allocated to them from any of the bank’s branches or Zakat disbursement centers. currently, the disbursement is allowed only in limited number of Zakat disbursement centers. The new system will also facilitate automated disbursement control that will save time and effort for Zakat Department staff.
